ABC Let's Celebrate You & Me by Sugar Snap Studio

Love love love this book! Sugar Snap Studio is one my favorite authors by far.

This book celebrates everyone! All the kids shown in the book come in different shapes, sizes, races, cultures, genders, and disabilities. Sugar Snap Studio always makes sure everyone is represented in their books, which I absolutely love!

This book shows young kids it's okay to be different. Different is beautiful! The little things that children may be self-conscious about is celebrated in this book. (As it should)

This book teaches kids you ARE unique! I especially love how the the author added the different types of hair and no hair at all, the different smiles, the different noses, the different food that families make, the different body shapes, different eyes, different skin, different dreams, different voices and more.

We are all different (that's what makes us special) but we all are human. We all deserve the same respect, love, and opportunities as everyone else, despite having different skin, being blind, being in a wheelchair, and so on.

I wish these types of books were around when I was younger, maybe things would be different now.. But it is our job to show our children/the youth that just because we look different, we all belong. We are all special, we are all unique, and we all matter. We need to teach the youth to stand up for people that different than you, teach the youth to never judge a person based on their appearance, clothes, skin, culture, ect.

There are also simple questions on some pages. I love when children books are interactive, it opens up many conversations.

My favorite letter in this book is W. "W is for WORTH. You have worth and value, and you are just as important as everyone else on this earth. Every person deserves to be protected, cherished, and treated with dignity and respect."

I highly recommend looking at the other books from this author. They are all truly amazing.
