Love, love, love this book so much! I adore Sophie's work. She is one of my favorite illustrators and authors out there!
This book (and all the others by Sophie) are my littles favorite. She grabs for this one in particular the most. The bright colors and pictures really grab her attention. My little is almost 3, she points out when a person is sad, crying, when something is broken. She understands, it's a must have book in my opinion.
If your little one has a hard time focusing on books while you read, this is a very good pick! Quick read with simple phrases that are easy for the littles to grasp.
Sophie Beer does all her own writing and illustrating. Her art is beautiful. Diverse. Which is everything we look for in books.
